The GW1-12FR Series is an outdoor high-voltage pole-mounted load break switch (LBS) designed for 12kV, 50Hz three-phase power systems. Unlike standard disconnectors, the GW1-12FR is engineered to make and break load currentsand over-currents.
The “R” designation indicates a built-in high-voltage current-limiting fuse, providing essential short-circuit protection for transformers and distribution lines. Constructed with high-strength anti-pollution porcelain insulators and silver-plated copper contacts, this unit ensures a long service life and high reliability in harsh outdoor environments. It provides a visible atmospheric gap when open, fulfilling the safety requirements for downstream maintenance.

Key Features
Dual Current Ratings: Available in both 630A and 200A models to support various feeder or branch applications.
Visible Break Design: Ensures operational safety and fault detection through clear visual confirmation.
Arc-Suppressing Contacts: Equipped with arc horns and magnetic blowout features for secure disconnection under load.
Weatherproof Insulation: Insulating supports and porcelain or polymer bushings ensure durability under rain, frost, and dust.
Manual or Motorized Options: Can be fitted with a manual lever or motor actuator for remote SCADA system integration.
Fast Installation: Comes with a standardized mounting bracket for quick pole-mounting with minimal labor.
